Chill wait staff, delicious food, and beautiful views. Super relaxing, and u can walk off your meal with a walk on the beach afterwards. Sit in the window or outside on the deck and people watch. Portions are large, so I was still enjoying my meal the next day. Seafood combo. Yum.

Really good food fast service and keeping up on the social distancing. And the view? Awesome

Stopped by for happy hour. Wine was $4. Tables are reserved for dinner only and while you can sit outside they will not provide you with tables, utensils or napkins. The fried calamari was frozen and completely dry (not on happy hour). You have to place your order with the bartender and you must carry your own drinks of you are there for happy hour, tipping is expected even when you are your own waiter. Skip it, taker your $ elsewhere.

Was dying for fish and chips!!!!! What a let down!!! It was terrible! The fish was so tough, not flaky and fresh, the texture was straight rubber!!!! It was like eating a rain boot. My salad on the other hand was BOMB!!! Blue cheese and apples and walnuts....,delicious. The deep fried artichokes were also delicious.

Luckily the had some lobster left. She would have canceled our date. Hahha jk. Oyster were awesome too.

Nice place. It was clean and the service was good. The food was good too. Wish the fish and chips were a little bit crunchy. They were soft almost soggy. Nice view too.

Great breakfast and mimosas were amazing

Advertised as a seafood restaurant is a bit misleading. Decent food, great portions. I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich, it lacked flavor but overall a good sandwich with the rocket salad. We also had the Clam chowder and garden salad and both were great. Drinks were meh, but decently priced for what you get. Not aching to go back.

Both service and food quality were mediocre. Location is obviously stellar but they allow that draw to neglect the essence of hospitality. Pity, it could be the only game in town!

Food is better than most price is too high for what they offer

It was time for some fresh air and sun and somehow I had a particular craving for fried calamari... 🤤 And... I mean... I cannot really say much and rather let the pics do the talking... 😁 I just love to enjoy my seafood with an ocean view... 👍🏼 I have to admit, that sure does serve as quite a good start to the weekend! 👌🏼

Couldn't eat much on their menu because l have specific food allergies. But our server was amazing and even offered to bring me a couple extra complimentary blueberry muffins since I could only eat one thing off the menu. The homefries were well seasoned and crispy. Didn't even need ketchup! The view from their outside seating was gorgeous and we watched the waves break against the beach as we ate.

Perfect atmosphere and amazing food. They are always packed, but handle the crowd well and you simply can't beat the view!

We had the fish and chips. Pretty good, just a little soft/soggy like. Still tasted good.

We went on Lobster night. The lobster was a decent size for the price and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was very attentive. And of course we had to have the mile high mud pie for dessert. We had a great time and we'll definitely go again.

Fabtastic location, right on the beach. The seafood fettuccini was delicious, as well as the mai tais and sangria. My partner was not super impressed by the mahi mahi, but otherwise the food was quite good.

Great location, and the food is just fine.If you love sitting on (near) the beach and enjoying a drink or a quick bite, then this is a great place to relax. The food is not amazing, but it's not too bad either. The ambience is a bit noisy, but you are out in the open air with (hopefully) the sun on your shoulders and the ocean in the distance. That's not a bad way to spend a meal. We always get a table here after running the Wharf to Wharf 10k (which ends on the beach next to the restaurant). Always good times!

Good food but watch out for the annoying birds 🐦 flying around your food.

Expected to have a long wait on Valentine's Day but we we're seated immediately at the window. Waitress was busy but still provided excellent service. Food was hot and fresh. The salad veggies were crisp and really well prepared. All in all a great lunch.

All of the servers were polite and helpful.

We're locals, have been to Zelda's a handful of times and have yet to be impressed. Bummer.

When they say on the beach they mean on the beach smoking patio, good drink's.

It's a little busy on the weekends and parking is tough. But the drinks are good and the food as well

Loved the food (tried 4 or 5 appetizers) and the relaxed atmosphere. Sadly the weather did not allow us to enjoy the deck but we had great time anyway!

Excellent viewing! The fish and chips are some of the best I ever had, usually the banner is like cake batter this is light and leaves the fish to be enjoyed! And the beer is cold!!

Fabulous! 30 minute wait but well worth it!

For great views and that ‘sand between the toes feeling’ this place is great. We’ve always been able to get a seat outside with a choice of sunny or shaded. But the staff tend to forget parts of your order, and the food is average at best. But we keep coming back because of its location. And if you want to enjoy the beach without bringing all your gear on to the sand, this is a perfect ‘in between spot’.

Nice outdoor dining, servers very attentive and friendly. The menu offered so many good options it was hard to choose just one. Desserts were yummy, too.

One of the best seaside restaurants in NorCal. Lively atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Food choices are minimal but all delicious. Must try their clam chowder and prawns.

The service was very good. The drinks were good (especially the cucumber mule that the waiter recommended). The calamari was very tasty. The view was great outside on the porch. Will definitely come again

Brunch on the beach! Fast friendly service and a great atmosphere.

It's a cute spot with outdoor seating and a great view of the beach. However, there were bugs inside and outside, and the birds there are very VERY comfortable, as to be sitting on the dishes when they're waiting to be bussed. We loved the staff though, very friendly. Given the price point, we were unimpressed with the food.

The view is always perfect, the food is fantastic and the night is always gonna feel like summer.

A very nice lunch, a seafood melt and a bowl of clam chowder. Haven't been here in at least 4 years, thought we'd give it another try. They've really fixed up the place. Service was very good ( the bar tender gal was our table server). Looking forward to going again.

Great restaurant in Capitola Village. We had a reservation and got a window seat where we saw a beautiful sunset. We had a wonderful dinner starting with fried calamari and the Thursday night prime rib special. Both were delicious. We ended our night with a lava cake. Overall fantastic experience.

Food and drinks were very good and flavorful. Service was good and friendly. I was put off by the amount of times I saw the servers play with their hair, clothing and coworkers hair and clothing then handle food with their bare hands. One server even used her bare hands to cut, butter and eat bread then placed it back in the drawer with the other loaves to be served in customer view then continued working. Also, the bathrooms were not clean even after being advised how bad it was by another customer, the 3 hostess wouldn't do anything about it and only stated they didn't have a female busser to handle it as none of them were doing anything because the restaurant wasn't yet busy with the dinner service.

Just ok, during covid was handed a dirty menu, food was just ok. Great location. Grilled sea-bass served with a pile of uncooked pepper. My chowder was good. Was handed a credit card machine covered with oily finger prints. Bring ur hand sanitizer.

Great atmosphere, great staff! Really enjoyed my hamburger and fries. Fried calamari was the best I've had outside of Hawaii! Plus, they have humungous cookies!
